Data Rescue 5 and Drive Genius 5:
If you have not yet updated to the latest version of the software, please go to our downloads page and install the latest version to ensure that you do not run into any complications with the software.
Drive Genius 5:
There will be no update for Drive Genius 5 that will offer macOS Catalina support.
Drive Genius 6:
We are working on a new build that will offer Catalina (10.15) support. Once this software has been updated to support macOS Catalina an official release of the software will take place. We hope to have a new version available in the next couple of months. For users currently running Drive Genius 6 on macOS Catalina, make sure that you download the latest beta. Keep in mind that the BootWell and clone feature is not available for macOS Catalina at this time.
Data Rescue 4:
There has been a patch provided for Data Rescue 4 that allows legacy macOS users to run the software on up to macOS 10.10 and not only 10.8 – 10.9.5 as stated previously.Link: Data Rescue 4 (macOS 10.8 - 10.10)
Users running macOS 10.11 and above will need to be running Data Rescue 5 for proper compatibility. If you have a legacy license and would like to see if you are eligible for an upgrade, please reach out to our support team that can help you through this process.
Hear:
We have identified an issue that was causing activation issues for Hear users. The software has been patched, however, this software is being provided As-is. There has been no alteration to the software other than to allow users to activate the software once more.
The software requirements as stated are macOS 10.7.5 - 10.13 and Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1. That being said, this software is still not supported and we will be unable to assist you with any issues that arise.
If you run into any complications with the software, as a last resort you can attempt a full uninstall of the software and install it again.
