Check Your iPhone’s Recently Deleted Folder

Start by heading to your photos app and heading to the Albums folder. If you’re having difficulty finding it, just look to the bottom right-hand corner of your screen.

From there, scroll down until you see a tab labeled Recently Deleted. This should be located under the header Other Albums.

Once you click on this, you should be able to see all your deleted photos within the last 40 days. You can then choose which pictures you would like to recover. You can do this by clicking on the Select option in the top right-hand corner. You will then be prompted to either Delete All or Recover All. If you want to return all of the photos to your device click Recover All.

If you want to choose a specific photo to recover, click on the thumbnail of the one you want to restore. In the bottom right-hand corner there will then be an option to Recover this photo. Click this once and then click the Recover Photo option that pops up.

That’s it!

See if You Have Them Saved on the Cloud

First, click on Settings and then head to the General tab. From there, scroll down to the iPhone Storage tab, and click on it.

Then, head to the bottom of your screen until you reach the iCloud Drive tab.

You should then be able to access all of the photos that were backed up on your iCloud Drive, even if they were deleted from your iPhone by mistake.

Please note, that you need to have set up iCloud Drive before this in order for it to work. Also, if you are having trouble accessing iCloud Drive from your iPhone, check and see if you can access it from your MacBook.
