The Fix Permissions utility is located in the ‘Protect’ section, or the third section of features in the main software findow. Please note that fixing permissions in the latest version of Drive Genius is only supported on machines running Mac OS 10.10 Yosemite.
For those running 10.11 El Capitan, 10.12 Sierra, or any future releases, your operating system now automatically repairs file permissions during software installations, updates, or changes. The Fix Permissions button utility will not be displayed if you are on a version of mac OS that does not require manual permission repairs.
