Today I responded to an inquiry from a customer who had been using SoundBunny in Snow Leopard and had upgraded to Mountain Lion. The options for controling sound for some of Mac’s utilities were combined in one Slider in Snow Leopard whereas in Mountain Lion they are all separated. The Mail Notification has its own slider and control, System Alert sounds are also on a different tab and Messages have a different sound bar. He was not clear on how to mute and control the volumes on each alert. I walked him through this process and he was happy with the functionality of SoundBunny which makes life much easier for productivity and control of the volume levels of your Mac. SoundBunny also has an option to setup apps and different items on a ignore list so they don’t show up in SoundBunny.
