I communicated with a customer who uses Dashboard in Mac OS X to listen to his music. He wanted to have the functionality of controlling the different alerts in Mac OS X on his iMac. He used his iMac everyday and throughout the day when he got his alerts for email or reminders they were either too loud or too quiet. He wanted an app that he could mute one application and run the others or minimize the volume.
He came across Prosoft Engineering’s SoundBunny which had the functionality of controlling volumes and alerts individually on his iMac. This is exactly what he was looking for. He had questions regarding the dashboard plugin and how to control the sound in there and make it work for him. I worked with him, making it work for him and getting it customized to his taste. He was really happy with the results and in turn emailed his Mac users group and told them about SoundBunny.
