Today I helped a customer who had some questions about Hear. He was previously using a sound program called Sound Source which allowed him to change audio outputs when he wanted to. It was easy to use, as it put a shortcut on the menu bar. He had upgraded to Mountain Lion and Sound Source was incompatible with Mountain Lion. He was looking for a replacement and wanted to know the advantages of Hear. I explained to him how Hear allows you to change outputs from speakers to head set. Hear also allows you to change audio settings according to genre and mute individual applications. He also liked the fact that Hear has the presets built in and can be changed easily. All in all, he found that the various settings that Hear allows the user to adjust to improve the sound from their Mac or PC makes Hear a valuable product.
