Today I spoke with a customer who had 2 hard drives, with one of the hard drives containing all his family pictures. The hard drive in question containing the family pictures had been formatted. He ran a scan with Data Rescue PC 3 on this drive and was able to see his pictures under raw data that Data Rescue PC 3 had found. He was unsure on how to checkmark these pictures and folders and then how to recover them. I helped him check these files by right clicking with the mouse and then clicking “recover.” He also had a question about how to find these files in the different raw recovery partitions that show up. These partitions are showing up in raw format because this hard drive was formatted and repartitioned. He was just glad that he had found these pictures that he thought had been lost due to a format.
