• I have a new 2011 Mac and recently was notified that an update was available and installed it. When I try to defrag my internal boot drive (Mac HD) it stalls on the minimal environment mode and just sits there with no activity. What should I do next ?
  We found minor issues that could cause instability in some cases with the recent release and 2011 Macs.
  
  If your Mac stalls on the minimal environment mode hold down the power button down until it turns off. When you boot back to the desktop download this new version of Drive Genius 3 http://s3.amazonaws.com/prosoft-engineering/dg/Drive_Genius_3.1.1_US.dmg and replace your current version.
  
  When you run Defrag again it will defrag as expected and restart your Mac and return to the desktop as expected.
