I was wary of relying on Drive Genius - for years, actually; but I finally started using it recently. It has already paid for itself. The premise behind DG is a very sound one. The execution is excellent. The documentation is clear and comprehensive. It's certainly a product that will help with prevention, recovery and (routine) maintenance of (in my case OS X) drives with no apparent ill effects. The technical support is exceptional... quick, friendly, very very knowledgable. The support staff really care and are usually able to solve anything you throw at them. It's a well-positioned product in an important area that does its job very well and can be recommended to all users.
