  • All I can say is THANK YOU!! But I will also say much more...
    Remember when Mac OS 10.3 came out and there were major problems with Firewire 800 drives losing all of their information and all that hullabaloo? Well little did I know that over 1 year after I lost 2 drives during that fiasco, that I would need the files that were on those 2 drives. I was looking for 2 years worth of photos that I took of my wife and I in Europe and our honeymoon and wedding and courtship. I realized that I didn't have those hundreds of photos and after searching literally all of my hard drives and disks, i didn't have them. Panic ensued and I found myself for an entire week trying to think about what I had done with them. When I realized where they might be I got a very sick feeling in my stomach because I had zeroed the drives after I lost them. With all hope lost I decided to pray and try Data Rescue on all the drives I had, hoping that somehow I hadn't destroyed the data. Amazingly on the first attempt, every single photo from 2 years previous popped up and I was able to restore each and every photo to my computer and promptly back them up to DVD's 4 times over. As a grown man I shouldn't admit this, but the instant I saw all of those pictures, which represented many wonderful and special memories from my past, I burst into tears. I didn't think a piece of software could ever make a grown man cry but thanks to your amazing software that happened to me. So basically after more than a year of using a disk that had been zeroed out and reformatted, Data Rescue was able to restore all of my precious photos.
