Pleasanton, CA - April 26, 2002 - Aladdin Systems And Prosoft Engineering Partner To Offer Outsourcing Option For Software Installers Based On Award-Winning StuffIt InstallerMaker

Aladdin Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Aladdin Systems Holdings, Inc. (OTC BB: ALHI) and Prosoft Engineering, Inc. are pleased to announce the availability of professional engineering services for the design and creation of software installers based on StuffIt InstallerMaker.

This new service offers developers, enterprise and educational IT departments the option of having their installers custom-built and tested by professional engineers intimately familiar with both InstallerMaker and the various Macintosh Operating Systems.

"With more versions of the Mac OS to support coupled with tighter budgets, developers and IT professionals are increasingly looking to outsource the building and testing of software installers."

Services offered will include the building of basic through advanced installers with or without integral "uninstallers," as well as custom options including unique support for unique registration schemes. The testing of installers on up to three target OS/Platform combinations will be included in the standard pricing. Testing of additional OS/Platform targets can be purchased as well.

InstallerMaker 7.1 requires a Macintosh with a PowerPC processor, running System 7.1.1 or newer (including Mac OS 10.1), with at least 12 MB hard drive space and 8 MB available RAM. Technical support is free for licensed developers.
