Prosoft Demonstrates the Latest Tools for Mac OS at MacWorld San Francisco
Pleasanton, CA - January 4, 2000 - Prosoft Engineering is pleased to
announce their participation in this month’s MacWorld Expo held this January 5th
through the 8th at Moscone Center in San Francisco, CA (Booth #3559). At the
show, Prosoft will be showing their latest advances in NetWare for the Macintosh Operating
system. The NetWare Client 5.13 and the NetWare 5 Services for AppleShare.
NetWare 5 Services and the NetWare Client 5.13 allow Macintosh users
to be connected to the NetWare environment. NetWare 5 Services are installed directly to
the NetWare server whereas the client is loaded on each individual workstation. Many
schools and companies where Macintosh Computers play key roles in marketing, publishing,
and design look to Prosoft Engineering for their Networking Solutions. Prosoft
Engineering, Inc. plans to have a mid-2000 first look at a native IP NetWare Client for
Mac.
Also available from Prosoft is the latest version of Formedia [now
called "Radialogic"]. Formedia is a full-featured set of utilities
designed to maximize the performance of the Apple Macintosh disk drive sub-system. The
latest version supports USB, FireWire, SCSI, ATA and the Castlewood ORB Drive.
Representatives will be handing out free trial versions of Formedia throughout the show.
